[Theory] deltarune - One Toilet Means All The Toilets
There are some who don't remember the detail in UNDERTALE that monsters don't have toilets because their food is magic and is instantly turned into energy upon digestion. This is for two reasons, out of necessity rather than inspiration: 1. Food being HP restoring items makes more sense this way. and 2. Toby probably forgot to give them bathrooms and then decided to make up a silly lore explanation for why not.
Those who do remember this detail will mention it in regards to Toby Fox's follow-up game, the ongoing deltarune. When one of the monsters using the bathroom somehow manages to come up(which isn't TOO hard considering the degenerates of the fanbase), people will mention that monsters don't use the toilet. Now, usually, people will respond with "Well, deltarune is a different universe, so we don't actually know if that works the same way."
I, on the other hand, can pretty definitively say it doesn't! I have a rock solid logic that can almost prove that monsters in deltarune's universe do in fact use the toilet. They take a piss, they take a shit. They drain the lizard, they drop a deuce. They water the flowers, they fertilize the soil. Padding!!!
To do this, we have to take a look at UNDERTALE again.
"But Electric Barrier," I hear you asking "I thought you and those other people said deltarune is a different universe! In fact, you're saying it works differently! How could that tell us anything?"
I'm glad you asked, strawman! By seeing what's different in UNDERTALE, we can find out what's different in deltarune. You see, in UNDERTALE, neither Dreemurr home has a bathroom! There's no toilet to take a dump in! But wait, of course, they're monsters so why would they have one? We established that. But they had an adopted human child! Chara Dreemurr would need a toilet, no? To wiz in? Of course not, because Chara ate the same food they did, there wasn't any human food to give the kid! They made an entirely new home after adopting Chara, literally called New Home. They'd have made a toilet or something if humans eating monster food still resulted in them needing to go. So we can say it's definitely a result of the food and and not a biological function of the monsters.
Turning back to deltarune, we see that this time, there is a bathroom and toilet in the Dreemurr household this time. Well obviously, it's for their adopted human child, Kris! EXACTLY! We just established, Chara ate monster food and didn't need to poop! There being a toilet here means Kris does in fact need to poop. And therefore we can say everyone needs to poop! The only conceivable reason if we look at it like this for Kris to need a bathroom while others do not, is because only Kris is eating normal human food. If Kris ate monster food, no toilet would be needed. But why would only Kris be eating normal human food? Humans can absolutely eat monster food and be fine, as shown by Chara who had to have eaten it for several years. There would be no need to make special food just for the only human in town. Maybe the Dreemurrs themselves might, but the dinner too? It was said Kris and Asriel went to QC's together quite often, so unless they just made up non-magic food each time... well, I suppose they could have.
As I said, it's almost definitive. There is some possible wiggle room here. But I think it's far more likely that monsters and humans simply eat the same food. Sure, Susie can eat chalk just fine, apparently, but their food is probably generally the same. And non-magic, resulting in bowel movements. What this likely means is that everyone else besides Kris both uses, and has a toilet.
One toilet, means ALL the toilets.
